Apartment short term stay Prague

AVOID THIS APARTMENT AND APARTMENT RENTAL COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!! THERE ARE NUMEROUS OTHER GREAT OPTIONS. DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM. Left after 1 night of a 12 night booking. Rancid smell of the hallway and the apartment rendering it unlivable, living room window broken out, old mattress lying in the hallway outside the door, generalized uncleanliness of the entire apartment, the photos don't illustrate the shabbiness of the entire place. This apartment and building are very run down. Staff at reception were completely unhelpful. Asked for a full refund of the rest of the reservation and indicated that the window was broken out and there was an old mattress in front of the door. The front desk person replied "yes, its been that way for a while" but had no answer when I asked why she they would still book us into an apartment in this condition. For comparison I have been staying in short lets around Europe for the past 2 months and routinely spend more than 300 nights a year away from home. AVOID!

Hotel response: Dear John, Thank you for your feedback. I am very sorry about you bad experience. Glass patio window was not broken but only slightly cracked. For sure you will understand that this glass panels are very specific and expensive. The production is made to order and was not possible to replace it from day to day. Under normal circumstances, it would be blocked apartment until then, but this pretty big problem in high season. I remember this case very well. I cared about your problem as the manager. Great location; fabulous roof-top patio; very quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Location is very good..right in the heart of the city..shops, restaurants and street attraction all over the place..the apartment was quite nice in the inside..quite comforting..and I love the bed and the bedroom. Got the 5th floor apartment, checkin in late at night which made it so creepy to get there..old building, old crap elevator (totally hate the elevator..sometime it works, sometime it doesn't) and dark passage all along the creepy alley inside the building up to the 5th floor..will give you creeps if you go in at night..but thank God the apartment /bedroom interior was great and warm.

Very convenient location, excellent price, beautiful well-equipped modern-style room. We had access to a shared kitchen which we didn't really use, but it also seemed very well equipped. Very secure.

Excellent location and value for money. Hotel staff were very friendly and maintained cleanliness. Awesome location, right in the middle of wenceslas square with restaurants all around, so no problem with food. Walkable distance from Charles Bridge and other attractions in the old town.
